Burgweg Apartment

The actual brief was to refurbish a winter garden. At the end the client got convinced that there is no need for one.

The light falls much nicer into the living room without any winter garden and the large foldable window enables to open up the inside to the garden.

WHAT WE DID

As already mentioned the leaking winter garten got removed. This offered space for a wide sunny terrace with a hard wood grating. The old window was replaced by a double glazed custom made foldable window. The living room got floored by full length planks of Douglas fir.
